An Early Look
Total claims rose from roughly 550,000 in 2025 to 880,000+ in 2026 year-to-date, reflecting more employees using their LSAs—not just more claims per person.
Median funding per employee per year rose 12%, up from $660—returning to the $750 median reported in 2024.
The highest average participation of any budget range—higher funding alone isn’t what drives participation.
Programs with both Marketplace and Debit Card enabled had 240%+ more claims than programs with neither.
Even as claims grew and diversified, most continued to fall within eligibility rules.
